EXAMINATIONS: These are encouraged but non-compulsory.

R.A.D. General Grades examinations are held in our studio each year in late July or early August.
R.A.D. Vocational Grades examinations are held in Brisbane in May and in August/September each year.
C.S.T.D. Tap and Jazz examinations are held in our studio each year in October and/or May/June.

SUNSHINE COAST EISTEDDFOD:
This is held in the Events Centre in Caloundra each May.

RECITAL/ DEMONSTRATION:
The school presents a recital every second year at the Events Centre in Caloundra.  In the alternate year, students, wearing class attire, present a demonstration of work-in-progress at the same venue. This year, 2010, the school will present a recital on December 3rd and 4th.

CLASSES WITH GUEST TEACHERS:
Guest teachers for 2010 will include:

Mark Brinkley, former soloist with the Australian Ballet and faculty member of the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and currently much in demand as both a guest teacher and as a character dancer with ballet companies within Australia and overseas.

Paul Boyd, a former principal dancer with many of Euope's leading ballet companies and the Queensland Ballet and currently a very successful choreographer and international ballet coach.

Benita Whalley, former principal dancer with Queensland Ballet, and West Australian Ballet and now a vocational grades examiner for the R.A.D.

Valerie Bayley, a Vocational Grades examiner for the Royal Academy of Dance and a highly respected international ballet tutor.
