Anne Fraser

 

Anne Fraser is a highly-respected dance teacher with over 30 years’ experience nurturing the talents of young dancers. After receiving her ballet training in North Queensland with highly regarded teacher and RAD examiner, Ann Roberts, Anne commenced teaching, but later relocated to the Sunshine Coast. Here, she undertook further studies in tap, modern dance and ballroom, and in the mid 1970’s, established her present school of dance.

Her students have had considerable success in RAD. general and vocational grades ballet examinations, as well as in CSTD. tap and jazz examinations. They have also achieved well in local, inter-state and international dance competitions.

Anne holds the Royal Academy of Dance Advanced Teaching Diploma, as well as teaching diplomas in theatrical dance and tap with the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance. For the last ten years, she has been a vocational examiner for the Royal Academy of Dance, traveling extensively within Australia and overseas.

Anne has been invited to teach in many regional centres and capital cities in Australia as well as in New Zealand, and, in her capacity as an examiner, has conducted students’ classes and teachers’ courses in many centres in South-East Asia, Japan and Canada.

Anne teaches the RAD general grades ballet classes from Primary to Grade 4, the RAD. vocational grade ballet classes, and the tap classes. She also choreographs and coaches her students’ classical ballet, neo-classical and tap routines for eisteddfods.
